This is the front of a postcard invitation I created and sent to ACLU of Delaware members, friends, and stakeholders. We were concentrating on the collateral consequences of involvement with the criminal justice system.

As Communiations Coordinator and Office Manager of the ACLU of Delaware, I was also Editor of their quarterly newsletter, Connection. I collaborated with the Executive Director on the editorial plan, assigned and wrote articles, and created the newsletter in Adobe InDesign.

As Communications Manager at the Pennsylvania Prison Society, I was also Managing Editor of their quarterly Correctional Forum. I brainstormed the editorial calendar with organization leadership, assigned articles, wrote some articles, and created the publication in Adobe InDesign.

While I was Communications Manager at the Pennsylvania Prison Society, I was the Managing Editor of their newsletter written primarily for and by prisoners, Graterfriends. Originally a monthly newsletter, we ended up printing more pages but every two months to save money. Prisoners sent me articles by mail (PA state prisoners did not have access to email), and I chose what to publish, editing as needed but not changing the tone/personality of the author.
